WFP is a dedicated annuity wholesaling operation focused on broker-dealers. Kevin Connor joined WealthVest in 2011 to lead the formation of a Hartford Life wholesaling team.
Prior to WealthVest Marketing, Kevin came from Hartford Life Distributors, where he led the marketing and distribution of The Hartford’s broker-sold retirement and investment products – including annuities, mutual funds, retirement plans, and 529 college savings plans. Kevin was responsible for all distribution functions, including internal and external sales, marketing and sales support, and strategic relationship management.
Kevin began his career at PLANCO, one of the nations’ oldest, largest and most respected financial product wholesaling firms, in 1981 as a regional marketing director. He was a consistent top producer in several territories, including New York, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. In March of 1988, he was named divisional vice president of the northeastern division, and became PLANCO’s western divisional manager in May of 1991. Kevin was promoted to vice president of financial institution sales in May of 1993. In 1998, PLANCO became a part of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. As a result of his success in creating and growing a robust wholesaling team, Kevin became a managing director with The Hartford in 1999 and led the interaction with The Hartford’s product development area and outside investment managers. In 2008, Kevin was named executive vice president of Hartford Life Distributors.
