WealthSecureSM features 1- and 2-year point-to-point participation rate strategies on both the Fidelity U.S. Quality Factor IndexSM 5% ER and Fidelity Stocks for Inflation IndexSM 5% ER. WealthSecureSM also introduces QuarterLockSM, a unique crediting strategy which automatically locks in the highest quarterly index value within the indexed term to avoid unexpected index decreases.

Starting with the top 1,000 U.S. Stocks based on market cap, the Fidelity U.S. Quality Factor IndexSM 5% ER targets companies with quality characteristics. Quality companies tend to have higher profitability, more stable cash flows, and a lack of excessive leverage. This leads to a competitive advantage giving them the potential to outperform their peers over time. The Fidelity Stocks for Inflation IndexSM 5% ER targets U.S. companies that tilt toward inflation sensitive sectors and industries. In an effort to reduce volatility and deliver more consistent returns over time, both indices have a volatility target of 5% that utilizes a daily risk control leveraging 10-year Treasury Futures and Cash.
The new fixed indexed annuity, which will be distributed exclusively by WealthVest’s nationwide wholesaling team, is now available in 43 states through Prosperity Life Group underwriting company S.USA Life Insurance Company, Inc. Consumers will have a choice of 5-, 7-, or 10-year withdrawal charge periods, and an option to add a Guaranteed Lifetime Withdrawal Benefit Rider. The product also comes with a capped annual waiver of withdrawal charge feature, as well as a waiver of withdrawal charge in the event of terminal illness or long-term confinement.
